AU Fuel Trip Cost Calculator

Work out fuel and cost for a trip before you leave. You enter the petrol price — this site does not invent one.

Formula

Fuel used = distance ÷ 100 × consumption. Trip cost = fuel used × price per litre. Example: 350 km at 7.5 L/100 km uses 26.25 litres; at $1.85 per litre that costs $48.56.

Your vehicle's handbook or dashboard usually states consumption, but real-world use is often higher in city traffic and lower on steady highway driving. See the Disclaimer.
